Yeah, the detox lasted a whole day, ate a sandwich at midnight. I felt so sick, like I was going to puke the whole time, so not fun. It actually did help me appreciate food more, and it did shrink my stomach. For that whole day all I wanted was some soup and maybe a banana, which are healthy cravings. I will definately be eating healthier, but it is not a good week or two for me. I am also looking for another job and hopefully find one.
I must admit I am glad to hear you are done with the whole detoxing. Been there, done that. It honestly just makes it easier to gain the weight back faster and easier afterwards. The key to weight loss is the calories in is less than the calories out. Or to maintain weight calories in equals the calories out. So what I do rather than deprieving my self from good food is controling portion size and staying active. I eat five meals a day, breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack. I know 5 meals sounds crazy but I ensure to stay active, have low calorie meals that include carbs, protein and fat. Will be a posting a blog soon more on how this works and the facts behind this.
ReplyDeleteHey! I am really glad to see a CURRENT weight loss blog out there, and from someone pretty close to my age. I would love it if you checked out my blog too, I don't have any friends on there yet, I just started a couple weeks ago. I would like to keep visiting your blog, and perhaps draw some motivation from you. You're welcome to do the same to mine! :) http://amittamusamet.blogspot.com/ (amitamus amet means "lose it" in latin)
